Renewal of Membership/Duty Rota 2019

2019 online now and ready for duties. View the Sailing Programme HERE Renewal Invites and Boat Stickers There will be an early bird discount of £10 available to people who renew and pay before the AGM on March 3rd. We shall be issuing coloured 2019 boat stickers to members when they have renewed and paid for their membership, and booked their duties. The stickers will be put in the red folder in the tea bar. This will assist duty crews to check that only registered craft are sailed at the club.

Personal Handicap events for 2019. All sailors in GOLD Fleet will be handicapped with the PY of the boat they are sailing on the day of competition. All SILVER sailors will have 10% extra on their PY and all BRONZE fleet sailors will enjoy a 15% advantage. MORE

RYA First Aid

1 day training course on Saturday February 2nd This is designed to prepare you for First Aid situations in a marine environment. The RYA First Aid training course covers everything from minor bumps and scrapes to Hypothermia and CPR and is suitable for mariners of all ages. These are popular courses and priority places are given to HSC Instructors. Book here on WebCollect.

Learn to sail

We offer RYA certified training courses for dinghy sailing and power boating. We have a large nucleus of home-grown, experienced, qualified instructors. Courses are for members and non club members, although members benefit from reduced fees. Club membership will allow you to hire our Club boats. Once you’ve mastered the basics, you may want to develop your sailing and racing skills further in the boat of your choice. You can achieve this through our summer 'improver' sailing courses. Learn to sail or improve your dinghy sailing on RYA Sailing courses, all under the guidance of our qualified instructors.


We teach children to sail from the age of 8, following the RYA Stages, with Stage 1 being appropriately called ‘Start Sailing’, going up to Stage 4

For Schools

Learn to sail in four after-school sessions. Low cost and fun activity for 8 to 18 year olds

Tuesday Tasters

Adult/Youth/ Children group sessions - an evening on the water. Tasters sessions for groups up to 12 participants.
